About Us

When tasked with this assignment, we were immediately looking forward to being given the chance to create a game which, if made into reality, would have the ability to enlighten, inform and educate those who play it on what we consider to be a very serious problem in today’s world. The topic we were given was Plastic And Our Oceans. We chose college students as our target audience because as serial coffee and soft drink drinkers, we are a group whom many would hold responsible for a large proportion of the problem at hand. We wished to create a game that is both enjoyable but also has an element of seriousness and urgency about it, as a result, we saw college students as the perfect target users. Ocean Heroes hopes to create change in the amount of plastic we use daily dramatically and in turn, reduce the amount that ends up in our waters.
